Happy Halloween.
It has been along time, since I blogged at YoYo Along. Kat asked me to share my spider yo-yo. First, I used three Clover Yo-Yo makers. The small size is for the head, the large size is placed on the under side of the main body, the main body is made out of an extra large yo-yo. Puff and stuff is what I used for the head and main body, but I did not stuff the one I placed on the underside. Therefore, I used and made a total of three yo-yos. Cut four pipe cleaners into two parts each. If you want to make a bug, then only cut three pipe cleaners. Remember spiders have eight legs. Once, I stuffed the the extra large yo-yo with puff and stuff and secured the yo-yo, I stuffed the pipe cleaners into the middle part of the yo-yo opening. That left me with a challenge, so I decide to add the third yo-yo to the underside of the spider. I used Fabri-Tac to glue everything together. The yo-yo placed on the underside is glued down with the gathered side and hole showing because it looks prettier this way. Bend the pipecleaners so they look like creepy spider legs. I glued the head to the main body and added pearl puff paint for eyes on the head. Of course, these are now napkin ring holders, but the spider could be adapted and turned into a pin cushion. Have fun. Make a bunch. Scare your friends. Best regards. http://http//www.flickr.com/photos/aaaandreaaaa/4043542787/
